I Told You...

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports
Let's Party

I told you I would be back so here I am...

Some of you were curious as to when I'd be back and I'm pleased to say that I'm back in full force. I was here when the new SportsBlog.com launched and was extremely grateful to have been a part of that launch. Mobile uploading and posting has taken off, so now it's So convenient to have right at the tip of your fingers when you're ready to write. For me, that's what will take me over the top.

So much has happened since my last legitimate post. Some of my favorite teams collapsed, some won, player's moved, player's stayed. Plenty of good and bad in the world of sports:

The San Francisco Giants won the World Series... again. Showing the world that, again, you don't need you biggest payroll or the sexiest player's to bring in a World Series trophy. Playing your best at the right time, playing as a team, and clicking on all cylinders will ALWAYS win you a World Series, I don't care who you are. Madison Bumgardner got hot at the right time, Kung Foo Panda hit everything thrown his way and the rest is history.

The New England Patriots won the Super Bowl in what was arguably the best Super Bowl ever. (Yes, the best Super Bowl ever. Call me biased but it is what it is) Tom Brady was masterful on the Patriots last two drives to gain the Patriots a lead late in the fourth quarter. Super Bowl hero Malcolm Butler saved he game with his pick of Russell Wilson. I don't care if it was the worst play call in the history of the game, the outcome was AMAZING! Okay, it was probably the worst play call in history to close out a game with the most punishing RB sitting right there. But hey, at the end of the day, a win is a win. (big smile)

The Cleveland Cavaliers god awful start has turned into what you expected: They are in the upper echelon of NBA teams. You didn't really think they were going to suck all year now did you? You shouldn't have. Not with that roster. They will be in the NBA finals this year. Watch.

I could literally go on for hours, but then I'd have nothing for you tomorrow, the next day, or the next day. One thing is for certain: There is so much more to discuss with you all and I cannot wait to discuss it all with you.

I'm glad to be back!
